The control of infection is important in a wide variety of work places including any health care setting, the hospitality industry and anywhere where people are residing and working together.
It is essential that employees are aware of the hazards and controls associated with the spread of infection in their workplace. This is important not only for protecting themselves from infection but also to reduce the risks to those around them.
The most effective way of ensuring that employees are aware of how to control the spread of infection is for them to receive appropriate training in infection control.
This half day course will provide candidates with the basic knowledge and understanding of infection control and meets all the requirements of the Induction Standard 4.6 "Infection control" to allow them to fulfil their legal duties.Ideal as induction and refresher training.
