When working with children or vulnerable adults, the number one priority is their safety.
Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and vulnerable people and protect them from harm. When working with such vulnerable individuals, it’s important to be aware of the policies and procedures to follow to best support them.
In July 2018, the UK Government released a new updated ‘Working Together’ guidance document which includes some changes since the earlier version in 2015. The NSPCC have put together a very useful briefing guide highlighting the key changes within the new statutory guidance.
At ABLE Training, we are committed to helping those working with vulnerable groups and ensure our training is always up to date based on UK government guidance. Please see a list of relevant safeguarding courses below and get in touch for more information or to book.
