First Aid Training Overview:

Able Training offers First Aid specific training including Emergency Paediatric First Aid, First Aid for Schools and First Aid for Foster Carers and deliver both Level 3 courses in Paediatric first aid as well as the workplace required First Aid Awareness annual refresher course, one-day Emergency First Aid at Work, and Three-day First Aid at Work Courses. First aid knowledge can be a vital skill that everyone can benefit from and whether you are looking for personal interest or workplace requirement we have the course to meet your needs. Ensure that you and your organisation meet your legal obligations under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

We can now include AED training and Managing Catastrophic bleeds within our courses depending on your First aid requirements

Level 3 Paediatric First Aid

Attendees will learn the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid situations.

First Aid for Foster Carers

Theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques suitable for infants, children and teens, designed to meet standard 6.7 of the National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services.

Anaphylaxis Training

A specialist course for first aiders, carers, parents and teachers, based on The Anaphylaxis Campaign’s Allergy Wise programme which is RCN-accredited.

Epilepsy Awareness

An awareness course delivered over a half or full day, useful for anyone with an interest or a need to better understand, support, or treat someone with epilepsy.
