We are delivering a 45 min plenary on the subject of “Violence in care:- person centred risk reduction strategies.”. We are so passionate about reducing the risk of violence in care whether that be towards carers or other service users because as well as it being a health and safety risk we feel it impedes on the quality of care a person can receive for numerous reasons. We aim to ensure an increase in confidence and competence in staff to be ABLE to managing behaviour that challenges. We want staff and care environments to successfully support individuals and meet their needs in the best way possible in the safest way possible. So we will be sharing some of our principles that underline our training.
We are also exhibiting and speaking at the Dementia and care show at Birmingham NEC on the 25th and 26th April 2018.
The UK’s only event dedicated to care home growth and achieving a sustainable social care model.
The Dementia Care & Nursing Home Expo is an event that provides unrivalled expert insight into an industry that needs to facilitate growth, whilst also showcasing state-of-the-art products, technology and trends that are reinventing the care sector.
We are delivering a half hour talk on “Violence in care:- person centred risk reduction strategies.” But we are also running competitions and micro talks on
