This three hour course explores the terms child trafficking, exploitation and grooming and their meaning.

It helps to identify the warning signs and symptoms that something may be wrong and what can be done to establish if suspicions are well founded. It explores:

How the handling of a child who is being offended against requires tact and sensitivity whilst the carer gathers evidence to support suspicions.
The effect of abuse on the child.
How to support an abused child throughout the disclosure process.
