Our LGBTQ+ Awareness course will help you to answer the questions above and more.
Through our LGBTQ+ Awareness course, you will gain an understanding of what being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning means. You will learn what homophobia, transphobia, sexual orientation, non-binary, pansexual, coming out, and deadnaming is. You will learn the difference between sex and gender. You will learn what pronouns are and why they are important. You will learn the different legislation and regulations involved within the LGBTQ+ community. You will what gender variance is as well as some examples of gender variance. You will learn what transitioning, social transitioning, physical transitioning, and legal transitioning is. You will learn the 2 different types of discrimination.

Our LGBTQ+ Awareness course is for anyone who would like to have basic knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community. Whatever care or non-care sector you work in this session will provide you with the information to understand the community better.
