Each year millions of people get sick from food related illnesses which can cause food poisoning. Food illnesses can cause serious health problems, and even death. Children can be particularly vulnerable to food related illnesses.
What you'll learn.
The course starts by developing understanding of basic food hygiene principles that are required by law in commercial food premises but often forgotten or not followed in the home.
The course also offers some basic advice on good nutrition in the home and some principles to help children enjoy a balanced diet
