If you have more than 50 employees, only one first aider for every 100 employees is the guidance, so if you have 101 employees, you need at least two first aiders.

Who is Level 3 First Aid at Work Course for?

Our First Aid at Work Level 3 course is for everyone. This session will give you the knowledge of how to aid a casualty with a mild and severe condition/ injury until emergency services are called.

What are the learning outcomes?

By the end of the course, you will be able to…

  • Discuss how to perform CPR correctly for adults, children, and infants.
  • Discuss how to correctly put an adult, child, and infant into the recovery position.
  • Recognise how to aid an individual during an asthma attack, shock, heart attack, stroke, anaphylactic shock, blood loss, insect stings, or animal/ human bites.
  • Understand when the emergency services should be contacted.
  • Gain knowledge of what should be included within the first aid kit.
