Through our Diabetes Awareness course, you will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of Diabetes. Be able to recognise the different types of Diabetes and have a broader knowledge of the treatment options available for Diabetes. You will have an awareness of the dangers associated with Diabetes and the potential outcomes of poor management. You will learn the importance of accurate record keeping for people living with diabetes and feel confident in supporting someone during a Hypoglycaemia or Hyperglycaemia attack. You will learn the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle including diet and exercise.
