We offer a combination of online learning and in-person delivery to bring together the best option for you. Future trainers attending the course will enplore all aspects of behaviour management and understand how the environment, staff approaches and policy can all affect outcomes. Neuro-diversity, trauma, mental health issues and other factors will be inbcluded in the training to ensure that all learns are aware, prepared and able to apply the training to their setting and those that they support.

Pre-requitsites:
- Level 3 or above teaching qualification (or proof of enrollment)
- Level 3 or above first aid at work qualification
- 2 years of experience in education or health and social care
- Completed the 12-18 hours of online learning in ATS

What are the learning outcomes?
Days 1-3:
- Theory refresher and Q&A, scenario-based training, de-escalation, personal safety and disengagement techniques
- Micro teach assessments
Days 4-6:
- Training in restrictive physical skills standard and advanced for multiple settings and risk levels with special scenario training and Micro teach assessments
Post course:
- Training needs analysis process and paperwork requirements (only if the delegates pass)
