The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations for children and infants.
Through our Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 course, you will gain an understanding of what life threatening conditions there are and how to recognise them. You will learn what the chain of survival is and how it is implemented in first aid. You will learn how to deal and aid a child or infant if they vomit during resuscitation. You will learn different causes of unconsciousness. You will learn what you should and what you shouldn’t do when there is an unconscious casualty. You will learn the difference between a concussion and compression relating to head injuries.

Who is Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 Course for?
Our Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 course is for who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid when needed to specifically children and/ or infants. Whatever care or non-care sector you work in our first aid course will provide you with the knowledge to aid an individual in various emergency first aid situations.
