Learn key aspects of First Aid and gain an accredited qualification valid for 3 years from the date of completion.
Attendees will be expected to complete some learning in their own time, which then blends with the topics and skills completed face to face.
Our First Aid at Work Level 3 – Blended 2 day course will cover key aspects of First Aid such as: the primary survey (D R A B C), scene survey. You will learn Levels of Response, Emergency life-saving procedures including resuscitation, use of a Defibrillator, dealing with vomit during resuscitation, maintaining hygiene during delivery of first aid to a casualty. You will learn about assessment and treatment of an unconscious breathing casualty including ‘top to toe’ assessment and the recovery position, Seizures, Choking recognition and treatment, Blood loss, recognition of catastrophic bleeding and treatment of shock as a consequence of blood loss, minor injuries. You will also learn accident recording and reporting.

Who is First Aid at Work Level 3 - Blended for?
Someone willing to take on the additional responsibility of helping their employer to comply so far as is reasonably practicable with Section 2, of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 which outlines the general duties of employers to their employees regarding Health, Safety and Welfare at work.
Specifically, employers must ensure as far as reasonably, the health, safety and welfare of their employees while at work.
