Understanding Mental Health & Mental Illness Overview:
"Mental health" and "mental illness" are increasingly used as if they mean the same thing, but they do not. Everyone has mental health, just like everyone has health. A mental illness is a condition that affects the way people think, feel, behave, or interact with others. This full day or half day course outlines the differences and allows delegates to better understand various conditions of mental illness, with the aim to increase understanding, decrease stigma and promote support for those affected by mental health conditions.
