Administration of Medication Awareness

Our Administration of Medication Training enables attendees to understand the importance of how medication should be received, administered, stored and recorded.
Module 2: Personal Safety & Breakaway

For low to medium risk settings Module 2 provides personal safety strategies, non-restrictive physical skills including responsive interventions to manage big emotions and breakaway training for those who experience hazardous behaviour that poses a physical risk to staff or service user. Staff need training in personal safety, breakaway or separation techniques but should not be required to use manual restraint. (this is the maximum level for lone workers)
Challenging Behaviour Training

Challenging Behaviour Training for adult and child settings including Schools & Education, Foster Care, Children’s Homes, Elderly Care, Social Care & Mental Health settings.
Managing Difficult Behaviours in Primary & Pre-Schools

This introductory course that briefly covers classroom management and managing behaviours of concern it also gives staff positive handling techniques suitable for pre-school or primary age children only.
Module 3: Positive Handling & Restraint

For medium risk settings Module 3 provides training in restrictive and non-restrictive physical intervention skills including; positive handling, guiding/shepherding techniques, restraint or clinical holding. For those experience hazardous behaviours that poses physical risk to staff or service users, where non-restrictive breakaway skills may not always be adequate to manage the risk and restrictive physical skills or manual restraint may be required.
Paediatric First Aid Level 3

Attendees will learn the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid situations.
Therapeutic Parenting

Our Therapeutic Parenting course enables attendees to recognise the impact of traumatic stress on child development and to understand what children need to recover from trauma.
Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

Learn support structures and effective strategies to aid young children and adolescents with the Pathological demand avoidance (PDA).
Oral Health Care

This 3 hour course will give staff additional skills to support those they work with in their oral care.
Supportive Observations within Mental Health

The overall aim of supportive observations is to prevent potentially suicidal, violent or vulnerable patients from harming themselves or others, manage risk or therapeutic activity.
